What to do there:

• Visit the castle and gardens. The Gardens are open from February to mid- June and castle tours run from March to Mid June.
• Walk the trails around the area, you get the best views of the estate from the hills around it.
• Enjoy the beach. There is a nice beach right by the estate as well as a couple of good cafes with plenty of outdoor picnic style seating areas.

When to Visit:

The castle and gardens are only open a few months a year, however the area around can be visited at any time. The cafes by the beach are only open during the summer months.

Practical information:

A car park is situated right by the beach and is open all year around. The walking trails are quite hilly and can be slippery so make sure you have suitable footwear.
